We will meet up with you at an organised litter picking event dates on the events page or if you prefer and reside in the Romney Marsh area we can make other arrangements. To reserve your equipment, please in the first instance get in touch via email: [email protected]
All we ask in return is that you post, including pictures, bags picked and where on our Facebook page, this inspires others, brings awareness and also tells members what area has been cleared of litter. We also add the bags to our yearly total.
If you find your circumstances change and you haven’t the time to continue litter picking just let us have the equipment back as each set costs us as a volunteer litter picking group £35.
Please keep safe, wear your hi vis vests when out litter picking best to stay away from A-roads unless you are part of prearranged group in full hi vis with road signage etc.
You may leave full bags by any council litter bin for collection by FHDC contractors Veolia, please use our clear bags do not leave black sacks by council litter bins. If you have collected a small amount of litter and theres room in the bin place in the bin.
Health & Safety - be mindful of any sharp objects, broken glass, needles etc and remember someone else is handling the bags after you. Never put yourself in a dangerous situation over a piece of litter.
